Hot
spa and baths
We
have two hot spa public baths, one for male and one for female. Guest
will be able to see Hakone highland and mountains from them. 
 
The
baths draw their water Owakudani Valley, located in the middle of Hakone’s volcanically active region where volcanic gas is
released. This
spa water is laid from Ouwakudani hot spot.
Ouwakudani
is the area around a crater of active volcano. There are sulfurous
fumes, hot springs and hot rivers.
There are men’s and women’s central bathing areas. There are no outdoor hot springs.
Hakone Onsen Supply Corporation, an affiliated company, provides all the hot springs in this region with Owakudani “Nigoriyu”, or pure,
white hot spring water.
Our hot springs do not use added water or added heat, nor do we recycle our water.
Our water is 100% natural. (Note: Some hot springs are too hot, so
water is added to cool it down.)
These baths are available to guests for free 24 hours a day. There are no
private baths. |
